Overview of the Retreat
Date: Friday, November 27 (late afternoon) to Sunday, November 29 (early afternoon).
Location: Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre, 7020 Stanely Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Theme: Entering into Advent.
Agenda: Details are TBD but we anticipate the following will be included. If you are interested in helping to plan the agenda then please reach out to Rick.
- Group Rosary
- Stations of the Cross
- Confession (pending availability of the priest at the Monastery)
- Chanting, musical prayer
- Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
- Time for silent reflection, including hiking the grounds and adjacent trails
- Readings and group reflections
- Time for fellowship.
About Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre
Mount Carmel is a spiritual retreat centre located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, offering a peaceful setting for retreats. Adjoining the retreat centre is the beautiful, historic Main Chapel which is the Canadian Shrine for St. Therese of Lisieux. Group Rates
The group rate for our retreat is $360 per person (all inclusive) for single occupancy.
The package includes:
- Accommodation (private rooms, each with its own bathroom) from Friday evening to Sunday.
- Meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch in their dining room. Breakfast is served at 8:00 AM, lunch at 12:00 PM, and supper at 5:30 PM.
- Use of meeting rooms, chapels, and other available facilities.
Note that as of mid-October, our group is the only one that will be using the retreat centre. We will likely have it to ourselves.
Payment
Mount Carmel has asked that our group have a single point of contact for payment. Please send your payment of $360 by e-transfer to ricks905@gmail.com (which is Rick's email) by Friday, October 30, 2026.
